Its Christmas Time Again

Thats right kiddies Christmas time again (infact just tommorrow) and me and Gem have all of our shopping sorted now thankfully. I refuse to shop the last couple of days before Christmas, I just hate waiting in lines! In fact being in a line the other day got me thinking if they had a paid express lane whereby say you paid a 5% surcharge or so on your total purchase to get instantly served. I know I would pay for it!
I have been very slack with updates this week due to big work commitments and the usual Christmas stuff and maybe just playing the Wii a lil bit too much. Everyone loves the Wii, it certainly has been a big hit in the house including Ryan and Wally who came over last night and couldn’t get enough of it.
This afternoon we’re off to Gemmas sisters place at the Coast and then back out to my parents place tommorrow for a couple of days. So probably not many updates for a few days again.
Lastly Chris came up on Friday which suprised everyone and me and Brent went out to lunch with him then that night me and Gem took him on the Annual Christmas Lights cruise that TCF has. Thanks for dropping by Chris as Im certain you’ll be reading this!
Now that was a Wii-kend

3 Days with no posts, that could only mean one thing… The Wii has been a success
We have been playing the Wii for most of our spare time on the weekend including taking it to a friend’s place to give it a go on his projector setup (as pictured). We had Gemma’s parents over on Saturday night along with her sister and the parents had an awesome time with Gem’s dad really getting into it which was a bit of a suprise!
Its official, I have my wii!

Thats right, you heard it here first. I finally have my Wii sitting right here with me at the office. I picked it up from Myer at 9AM along with my other little goodies of GT Pro Series (racing game) and Wii Play (comes with free wiimote and is just $10 extra to buying an extra wiimote). I actually forgot to get my spare nun-chuck but have rung up and getting them to hold it for me till I go down there for lunch.
Wow, what a weekend and a half!
Been a little while since an update and I apoligise for that but will make up for it in this message.
Last week is what I call Gemma’s birthday week because just about every day was something related to her birthday but the most interesting and fun time was on the weekend when we stayed at the Watermark Hotel on Saturday night for her birthday. We got the Tempatations For Two package which was great as it gave us a heap of extras such as a free in house movie (we watched Failure to Launch - not too bad movie), Connoisseur Ice-Cream and Champange on arrival (Gem drank most of the Champange!) and Body Chocolate (dont ask!). We actually got upgraded to the top level for free (level 20) in the ‘club’ rooms which gave us a great view. It was a really nice night as we spent the early hours in the spa downstairs and then went out for dinner in Surfers to finish up back at the hotel watching the movie. Took a couple of photos as well of our view of the coast and of Q1 which was right next to us.

Well now the number of days are just getting shorter and shorter until the Wii gets released. Infact as of today its only 9 days left until its released. I really cant wait because as predicted it has been hugely in America and without a doubt it will be over here as well.
Last night for some odd reason I started to cleanup my cupboard to then think screw this Im going to get rid of all the stuff I don’t want anymore. Long story cut short I ‘forced’ Gemma to do the same as I am just sick of the cupboard being so cluttered and it took a lot of pain for both of us to throw out the stuff we wanna keep because of the memories from it and not because we would wear it again! All up almost 20 plastic bags of stuff (pictured) which has now been all passed onto the Endeavour Foundation because it’s best to go to them then to the tip!
Lastly a big hello to those who actually use the RSS from this website, last week I found out that an old friend Chris is keeping updated by the site via RSS so a big hello to him and anyone else doing the same!
