Time to catchup

Well this is my first post since coming back and boy do I have some things to talk about. Firstly, I have actually been really re-considering re-doing my blog, yes I know I only just recently did it and haven’t completely finished yet but I really feel like just something again a bit more simple and stop trying to show off and make it a fixed width design again. By the way I swear Angus James didn’t make me think about it!
A little while back I made a comment on a blog that is managed by one of the main guys that own the online invoicing software that we use. Simply put he had a guy email him about how he knew so much about ‘Web 2.0′ and that the website was being run the wrong way. Needless to say I was the only one who chipped in to back the owner in saying how this guy was wrong that emailed him, there were at last count 65 others!
Just before starting back at work last week I came across a couple of good articles to help strengthen myself when it comes to pricing of website work. The first article was written by a designer speaking about when pricing websites what to consider and how to keep your pricing correct and not give in to the client.
Infact the above article lead me to the second one, or more correctly, the first podcast I have listened to. The podcast was a great listen and I would highly advise anyone involved in design and often pricing their work to listen to it. Infact I think Im overdue to have another listen to it as it really is quite inspriational.

Yeah, you’ve still got your “All new design” badge on!
I saw that Blinksale post, man did that guy get slaughtered… I’ve never seen so much bloodshed!
P.S. My first-name’s actually James.

Whoopsies! Sorry about that, all fixed now and noted. James is certainly a better first name
I really better get rid of that badge soon, but I have a funny feeling the new design will happen before that
