Well now our days in Melbourne have now ended. We leave Melbourne tomorrow morning to set off to Sydney and I must admit I think I will miss Melbourne as we had a great time there and I really fell in love with the city due to its design appeal of all the buildings and how great the transport infrastructure was.
We spent today shopping by starting off at the new DFO on Spencer street which had a few good stores but not many specials or anything much different to the usual.
So we then set off to the infamous Bridge Road in Richmond which had a heap of stores. It was really weird to head down what looked like a rural town main street and have all common name brand shops fitted out in the old buildings like Esprit, Jacqui E, Jeans West and a big fave for me, Cotton On (probably the biggest one Ive been in). We managed to get a few new clothes there but there wasn’t anything at least to what it had been hyped up to be like!
Afterwards we went back to the Hotel to get ready for the dinner the Melbourne members of the AU Starlet Club had setup for us (thanks Ying!). The dinner was at The Lounge which was a great location right in the CBD and I managed to get quite a few free drinks! They screwed up my first order of cocktails (yes thats right) which they had a 2 for 1 deal and they didn’t realise till I was over half way through that I was given the wrong ones so gave me another 2, score!
The dinner went well and we all went to a shopping centre rooftop carpark to take some shots before me, Gem, Chris and Stacey head off to the local Krispy Kreme to indulge in mine and Gem’s first donuts from there… they were brilliant and thanks to Chris and Stacey for taking us there!
