Ive Been Very Sick

Well Ive now only just recovered from a really really bad illness that I had from last Wednesday onwards. The first I picked up on it was Tuesday when I went into the KMart shopping centre and felt really cold when I went into the air con. Now, I really love cold temps and it is weird for me to feel cold. Anyways the day carried on and I was starting to get worse…

On Wednesday I was sweating so bad and feeling absolutly cold. My fingernails were so purple it looked like a car ran over them! I then had to leave work (Inject-a-Carb) in the afternoon as I could not go on anymore. The worst part of it all Brad (the other guy from work) was on holidays, therefore when I left no one was there. See Ive been working fulltime there for two weeks whilst he went on holidays.

Anyways on Thursday I was feeling so bad, aching all over and going to the toilet every 30 mins and awful stomach pains and cramps. I went into my doctor to find out I had a severe stomach bug commonly reffered to as Gastroenteritis which is like food poisening but a viral infection. There was nothing he could give me other then advise me to rest for the next few days and keep my fluids up and if I dont feel like eating (which I didnt) then dont worry about it. He suggested Gatorade as a drink because it would give me some energy and be completly asorbed without needing to pass it through my system.

Friday morning still feeling like crap I get a call from work asking if Im coming in to which I say Im still feeling very Ill which I was and the boss got very cranky. Needless to say I ended up going in, even though I had a medical certificate for the day. I felt bad to not goto work as no one else could look after it so I felt very obliged. Anyways to make things worse the boss did not even once during the day say “Thanks for coming in” or even ask how I was feeling, great compassion there! Thats the type of stuff I refuse to put up with and will refuse to. I know it was bad I couldnt go there as no one else could help out and I felt bad about it, but I was very Ill. Still I worked through till 4pm and went home.

It wasn’t until Saturday that I had my first food since like Tuesday, I had not ate anything for 4 days!

Anyways enough of me complaining, this week Im just working fulltime in my own business which is great and money is great as well in the business and its been good to get a heap of workload out of the way as well.

Anyways back to it for me!
