Damn that V Drink is Nasty

Tags: No Tags

V DrinkWell after stocking up the office fridge with some Red Bull I thought I might put in some of the V Black drinks as well. Brent has been going on about them tasting better then Red Bull (although I do like the taste of Red Bull now) and I thought I might as well give them a go. So this morning I did and needless to say theres an opened 95% full V Black sitting in the fridge, it tasted horrible!

So back to the Red Bull sugarfree (gotta watch that weight!) for me and another one added to my stash Red Bullof empty Red Bull cans, can’t wait to see what kind of can booty I can end up with in a few months time!

I was silly to think that the V would taste any better, I mean come on the drink is made in New Zealand and V doesn’t have an office like Red Bull with slides between each level! Weeeee back to Red Bull for me :)

And damn look how fancy i am now having photos in my post…

never tried that ‘black’ stuff but the original V drink so nice, much better than overpriced Red Bull.

I think that you really can judge people by the way they comment different stuff. Some people, even expressing negative thoughts, are still polite and they respect and understand other people. Some people are not even trying to be nice, they just don’t care. I think self-confident person will always act nice, no matter what other people do

I’ve tried them all (except the sugar-free ones as I’m fatally allergic to artificial sweeteners), and The thing hat puts me off Red Bull is the way the sickly-sweet berry taste stays with you for hours and hours.

V Black has a much smoother taste than the other types of V (the berry and lemon varieties are horrific) and is slightly less acidic (easier on the stomach). I’m told it’s a coffee-based flavour, but as a very heavy coffee drinker I can’t taste the coffee.

One thing I discovered about V Black just today is that it has twice the taurine of the other V varieties (the same amount a Red Bull) which seems to help stop those shaky sweats you can get from over-caffination.

In order of preference I’ll drink
    V Black
    V
    coffee
    water

I just can’t stomach the flavouring of Red Bull or the lemon and berry V varieties.
