A lot of changes in the business of late

Things have been growing well beyond our expectations in the business in the past month, well of course we anticipated it to all go well but not this early. Brent’s major contract has now turned fulltime and I have enough work to keep me busy until March just about. So all of this work and the continuation of it has convinced us that its time to hire. That’s right we are now getting ourselves our first employee, its a big step up for the business and one that I always couldn’t wait to take.

All that aside I also just bought me a new computer setup for the office, can’t be bothered going into it in too much detail but a pretty high end system with a proper dual screen setup (two 19 inch displays) as in the photo at the top left.

At work it’s been hard to find some good music as Im forever wanting some ‘new stuff’ to listen to. Ive been finding a few live club mixes of late to listen mixed usually by some big DJs like Carl Cox, David Guetta and Bob Sinclair. Most of them are around 1-2 hours long and usually have a good mix of some new dance tracks along with some more well known ones.

Also Im hoping to be able to do a release of the reason why I have been very slack of late. I have been working on a lil side project of late which I hope to be able to use in a public environment very soon. Its used for our business at the moment but with some more mods to it I think it will be one very marketable ‘Web 2.0′ site.
